Sew Sampler May 2023

Welcome to The Quilting Camper Blog! Looks like the Sew Sampler Box for May 2023 has arrived! Please click on the video below to check out the unboxing of this months awesome quilting box!!! By far this was one of the BEST boxes from Sew Sampler in a very long time. Fig Tree Quilts Junior Layer Cake pre-cut from Moda is stellar! Two spools of thread, two great notions from Clover and two great patterns. There is a bonus too, so watch my video to find out!

This video at the end has a minute full of bloopers! I have to admit when it’s you, the camera lens and a very clever script written by the Fat Quarter Shop, anything can happen. Boy, that was an understatement. So enjoy my outtakes! I’m also working on making my lighting better. I did natural light with some fill light and the camera kept fluctuating my white balance. I’ll have to figure out how to lock on my exposure with my Canon M-50 or just shoot video at night where I can easily control lighting. I’ll be doing more unboxings and sewing videos, so I’ll need to figure it out. I appreciate your patience as I come up with a better lighting solution.
