Oliso Pro Iron!

Picked up an Oliso Pro iron that I ordered back in Nov 2021!

I finally made the switch from man Rowenta irons to hopefully the only Oliso Pro Iron I’ll have to purchase. When they launched the turquoise color, I was right on board!

I struggle with putting my iron in the upright position occasionally, so I figured an iron that could lift it’s self up from the ironing surface automatically would be magical. Most quilters I know use this iron. I recently went to a home and housewares trade show in Chicago and met the people from Laura Star. Very impressed, but the price for those iron systems are way over my budget at this time. The Oliso wasn’t cheap either, but if it costs less than making a quilt, it’s well worth it.

This was a great way to end a very stressful day dealing with my Dad’s estate. Ever since my dad passed away this past May, it’s been so many ups and downs, both emotionally and physically. Sometimes there is happiness in the little details, even if it’s a pretty iron that is best suited for quilters!

Huge thanks to my local Bernina Dealer for getting this iron for me! You guys are the best at Bigsby’s sewing! Now I know why nothing sews like a Bernina. My 770 is amazing and super smooth. It’s become my favorite machine to sew on!

Just getting geared up for a Quilting Camper trip later this summer!

In the comments below, what is your favorite iron? if so, what kind do you prefer?

Have an awesome day!

Scott
