Christmas in July Cards!

Designed a card from the new Stampin’ Up! Holiday 2022 Catalog and create another 20 for a Pink Stamper card swap!

As most of you know, I’ve been a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator on a off since 2008. I have loved stamping with Stampin’ Up! every moment. There was short period I worked Fun Stampers Journey, but that was short lived and really missed Stampin’ Up! Sometimes you don’t realize how much you love something until you try something different.

When I rejoined back to Stampin’ Up! in 2018, I joined my friend Robyn’s team of stampers called the Pink Stampers! As much as I wanted to support my local demonstrators here in the Milwaukee area, my friend Robyn had built such a fun online team that I knew I could grow and learn so much from. And I have…. Even though my business is small, I’m ranking at Silver with Stampin’ Up! which I never thought would ever be a possibility. For me it’s more about the achievement than it is about the success. While I still mostly do Stampin’ Up! as a hobby, I do have a small team and love working with them. Robyn has brought so many new friends into my life that I would never have known if it wasn’t for the Pink Stamper team. Not only that, it was Robyn that encouraged us to create a blog. So here I’am!!! Finally. LOL.

I’ll share bits and pieces of my Stampin’ Up! journey in this blog as time goes one.

Now for the card!

This simple card is created with a new Stamp Bundle called Boughs of Holly! Click on the Stamping Scott link below to see my product list located on my shopping page. White and gold foil elements bring this card together with very little stamping at all. Was so much fun to create a Christmas card in July. I made 22 cards total, 21 will be sent to a Pink Stamper swap. A swap is where other demonstrators create a card usually around a them and send them to a moderator. In this case, Robyn is organizing this swap. Then the moderator will take one of each card sent to them and send them back to the demonstrator. So that means in a few weeks I’ll get 21 different cards back made from other demonstrators. In this swap, they had to be holiday stamp sets from the new Holiday 2022 catalog which launched on July 1st! So excited to see what get’s returned to me.

If you are interested in stamping, crafting, please check out my YouTube Channel Stamping Scott. I post videos there usually about making cards, stamping techniques, unboxing of products and other fun things.

In the comments below share your favorite stamp set or stamping technique. I’d love to hear from you!

This is how I organize myself when assembling multiple cards for a swap. I use a utility drawer organizer like this one from Ikea.

21 hand made cards in 2 weeks ready to send!
