For the first time on my YouTube channel, I’m unboxing the Fat Quarter Shop Liberty Box! It’s a specialty box that has a theme for the Forth of July Holiday season!
Well hey there friends!!! It’s been a while!
Been very busy with some new projects like applying to the Bernina Ambassador program. It’s taken a few years of contemplation and I’ve realized this would be the best step for me in my quilting journey. I came back from H+H Americas in May all inspired from what I learned from Bernina and Bernette. I chatted with my local Bernina dealer and I would represent them if I get accepted into the program. In this video I talk a little about my application process. It would be so much fun to have the ability to collaborate with other creators and makers in the Bernina community and represent the brand to inspire others too. It’s exciting.
My friends at Bigsby’s Sewing Center just came back from Bernina University where they unveiled the new TOL Bernina 990! What a magical machine and all it can do. I’m hoping I’ll be able to do an unboxing for my YouTube channel. We will see how that goes. I will have the opportunity to attend some training on this new machine! The 10” screen is unbelievable and operates similar to an actual computer tablet. Over 2.5K sitches and the 9mm stitches can be resized up to 90mm utilizing multi-direction stitch function with-out hooping. There is both a camera and laser for precision point. The camera also works as a scanner. The embroidery field is 10” x 16”, one of the largest in the market and will be a wonder for Kimberbell Projects. Stay tuned for more info and I might even do a website walk through of the machine.
