Cupid, a Surprise and Vanessa

My first ever reveal of the Cupid Box from Fat Quarter Shop on my YouTube channel!

Welcome to the Quiliting Camper!

This is the first time I have purchased a Cupid Box from the Fat Quarter Shop. I usually only get the Liberty Box and Sew Sampler. Thought it would be fun to try something new!

So is it love at first sight with the Cupid Box 2025? Well, make sure to watch my video reveal below by clicking on the YouTube link. All I can say is the fabric steals the show on this one and I’ve already starting making a project with it just for the Valentine’s Season.

Love Blooms - Lella Boutique for Moda Fabrics!

I’m making two Dresden plates, one for my sewing studio and one for my Mom. She watched my video and fell in love with this pattern. I definitely agree! Lella Boutique is one of the top designers that I really admire from Moda. Her color ways are always my aesthetic and her floral patterns feel unique with a modern touch. Let’s just say, you can always pick her fabric out in a quilt shop just by looking at the pattern on the bolt. I love that! I got to meet Vanessa Geortzen from Lella Boutique last year at H+H Americas along with Robin Pickens. It’s so much fun to match the actual person to the fabric we quilt with. I hope to see them again this coming year at H+H Americas in May.

Venessa Goertzen of Lella Boutique for Moda Fabrics!

So back to the Cupid Box! I’m not sure if I will buy the box every year, but I’m certainly glad I went for it this year. While it did feel more like a Sew Sampler box with its actual value and the contents included, it was loaded with lots of exclusive items you can only get in the Cupid Box. I’m just grateful it came with a beautiful fabric print from Lella Boutique. That was a huge surprise! The Liberty Box in 2024 also featured a fabric print series from Lella Boutique.

The February Sew Sampler box has a huge surprise in it and I’m very excited to share it with all of you when it comes! I got a spoiler from a Fat Quarter Shop live on their YouTube channel. It’s a notion and its value is more than the price of the box! It’s also something we all use when quilting and can never have enough of them! Stay Tuned!

Let’s me know what you thought of my video below and what was your favorite item in the Cupid Box.

Thanks for spending some time with me on this journey!

Big Hugs,

Scott - The Quilting Camper
